Emage Brings Artificial Operational Intelligence to Medical Manufacturing Asia 2026

Singapore · 9 to 11 September 2026. Emage Group exhibited at the seventh edition of Medical Manufacturing Asia (MMA) at Marina Bay Sands. Organised by SPETA and Messe Düsseldorf Asia, and held alongside Medical Fair Asia and Rehacare Asia, the show brings together the companies behind medtech production, from materials and components to precision engineering, testing and quality assurance. Chetan, Louis and, JY were at the exhibit booth, showing visitors how Artificial Operational Intelligence, the "Think" pillar of our See. Think. Act. approach, gives medical device makers a clearer picture of what really happens on the line.

A gap worth closing

In medtech, every step is written down, validated and meant to be done the same way each time. Checking that it actually was still relies heavily on people, through sampling, sign-offs and audits after the fact. A skipped or swapped step can go unnoticed for a long time. Our system watches the live process through continuous video, learns what normal looks like on each line, and flags anything that drifts from it.

What we demonstrated

At the booth, visitors saw the system running live, with a camera checking tube connections in real time. The demo covered three areas that matter most on a medtech production floor.

Process sequence verification. Confirms every step happens, in the right order, and keeps a record of what was actually done on the line, not just what was signed off. Anomaly detection. Picks up unusual timing, motion or handling while the process is running, so teams can act before it becomes scrap or a nonconformance.

Workplace safety monitoring. Uses the same cameras to spot unsafe situations, such as someone entering a restricted area, and alerts supervisors right away. All of this runs on top of existing equipment, so manufacturers can start with a single line and grow from there.
